• The Cornucopia

[/b] –This is the center of the arena, the place were all tribunes will start from. The tribunes will start on platforms that ring around the actual cornucopia. Inside are tools and weapons that are essential for survival. Knives, tents, matches, first aid kits. However, if you want some of these items you must be prepared to fight to the death for them. Take your pick freeze to death slowly, or die at the hands of your fellow tribune. You can also run away as fast as you can in the other direction and hope to go unnoticed. The choice is yours, just remember it may be the last decision you ever make.

[/li][li]Trees[/b] – This is a long but thin area dotted with trees and shrubbery. You have a good chance of finding a rabbit or some small rodent in here to eat. However, it is not that thick, and you have a good chance of being found.
Pros: Food
Cons: Exposed, Freezing at Night

[/li][li]Dense Forest[/b] - This is a great place to hide if you are good enough no one would find you for days. There are several great trees to climb, and many places to conceal yourself. There are also plenty of animals to hunt. This area gets to near freezing temperatures at night and, lighting a fire in here would be like flashing a neon sign that announced your location. Also finding water is near impossible.

Cons: Lack of Water, Freezing at Night

[/li][li]Small River[/b] – Here you have a clean source of cool water, which is one of the most valuable elements in the arena. Be careful, because you are also exposing yourself. Coming here poses a great risk. Many would not risk it unless they have something to put water in to store for later, or if they are inches from death. Most likely it is a trap.
Pros: Water, Possible Food
Cons: Very Exposed, Freezing at Night.

[/li][li]Desert [/b]– The desert provides constant warmth, something that no other area can provide. You can safely light a fire here, and chances are that no one would suspect anything. There is a large fire burning on the far southern end, and smoke is constantly circling around anyway. There is absolutely no water here, and any animals you find to eat will be small.
Pros: Concelment, Constant Warmth, Possible Food, Shelter
Cons: No Water

[/li][li]Large Lake[/b] – The water is clean, and cold. It is uniquely refreshing, and pure. Fish can be found here easily, so there is a constant source of food and water. However there is no shelter, and once again like any water source it is most likely a trap. Only the strongest of swimmers can swim from one end of the lake to the other.
Pros: Water, Food
Cons: Exposed, Freezing at Night

[/li][li]Mountains[/b] – There are two caves in the sides of the mountains. They make for great hiding places. It is almost always freezing, and it is unnaturally cold. However, the chances of finding the other tribunes up here are slim. Any animals you find up here are most likely predators. The only advantage here is the shelter, and the lack of people.
Pros: Concelment, Shelter, Possible Water, Possible Food.
Cons: Predators, Freezing Tempatures
