Personality: Meylia would be considered different than most of the careers that are drawn to be in the games. She isn’t a blood thirsty manic set out on killing everything in sight in order to secure a victory. Um, no. She would like to win the games but she’s too innocent to become a totally killing machine. At her age, she tends to hide in the back rather than be the center of attention. You wouldn’t call her shy, but Meylia isn’t that kind of person who likes to be pushed in the spotlight. Meylia has what you folks might call a ‘wall’ around her. She tends to push people away who gets to close to her. On the outside, she appears to be a serious fifteen year old girl who has, er, anger issues, as she flares up often. However on the inside Meylia is pretty playful with a rather serene expression.
Strengths: Meylia is rather quick witted and a easy thinker. She could look at something and by like bam have an idea of what to do with it. Meylia, being the tiny twig, has some surprising muscle strength, though most don't know that by looking at her fragile figure.
Weaknesses: Meylia very aware of dangers in the world, or in this case, the Games, but she is too easy to manipulative when her friends, family or an innocent person is in danger. She will rush to their aid without thinking and then, will you have her trapped.

Unique Abilities: Meylia is rather handy with a bow and arrows though also is pretty okay with a knife. She also is a decent long distance runner.

Important People:
• Her sister, Cheylia who was about three years older then her. She was reaped for the 72th Hunger Games and made it to the final two. Her last opponent washer district partner, whom she had always had a thing for. Cheylia ended up committing suicide in the arena.
• Her parents though, after her sister's death became distant and unreachable. Meylia fears that one day, she is going to come home from school and find her parents just... gone. No note, no message, no hint of where they are. Like they didn't exist at all.
History: The day of the 72th Hunger Games reaping was a hot one: 94 degrees Fahrenheit in the shade. Meylia was being roped in with the rest of the twelve year-olds. Her eyes scanned the crowd and caught the blue-green eyes of her sister Cheylia, who was with the fifth-teen year olds. She was chatting to Maerid, her best friend. A silly looking women came up to the stage and Meylia turned her attention to the lady.
The woman from the Capitol started off the reaping with small talk but went right to business. Pulling out the slip of paper for the girls, the lady rang out in a rough voice, Cheylia Raimeia.[/b]
Meylia opened her mouth and let out a sound that wasn't human. She stuttered a few times then went slack as she saw her sister being escorted up the stage. Cheylia turned and looked at Meylia. That one look said it all, Don't do anything. Meylia tried to protest but there was nothing she could do; the lady was already pulling a name for the boys. Maerid Cakalet
That was the first time Meylia has every seen her sister cry, when her best friend was called up to the stage.
That was the day for Meylia when everything changed. She hated this, she hated everything. Once the Games were over, she hated Maerid for coming home without her sister. She hated her parents for pretty much leaving her mentally. And most of all, she hated her sister, for not allowing her to volunteer for her.
Views on the game: Meylia said that she must have been in a bubble her entire life before her sister was reaped. Once her sister, Cheylia was reaped, her eyes opened up to the horrors that the Hunger Games really are. Before, she just went along with them without really giving them much else thought. Meylia thinks that her being reaped was a revenge factor from the Capitol because of what Cheylia had done in the arena.
