Personality:
Trinket is the ‘glass half full’ kind of girl. Even if she doesn’t believe it at first, she will keep telling herself over and over, until she does. She likes to lean toward the positive side of things, simply because it makes life more bearable that way. She is no stranger to loss and tragedy, she has suffered. Most of her grief has taken place during the past two years of her life. Instead she tries to focus on the fun and cheerful side of life, even if it is a lie. As a girl who ‘once upon a time’ had a simple life, she craved danger, now she her life has became overwhelmed with it.
One thing she can control is the ‘cleanliness’ of things around her. It gives her a false since of control of her world. She is not your typical girl next door. She is a small girl, and usually is over looked. When it comes to relationships Trinket is a hopeless romantic, and loves beautiful people. Be that by physical means, or if they are just incredibly sweet. She loves bad boys, and guys that are maybe just a little bit too old for her. She loves the rush, and the danger. She likes men that can challenge, and excite her. She doesn’t have an actual ‘type’ as far as features go. She does however fall in and out of love at an alarming rate. Trinket is sweet, and approachable however she refuses to be walked over. She will not back down, and thinks nothing of standing up for herself. She is tough when she needs to be.
Strengths:
- Likable – Trinket is a very likable girl, and she has that innocent girl next door appeal. She usually tends to have a smile on her face, and is generally approachable. Girls usually get along with her because she is just cute and not breathtakingly gorgeous, so they do not feel threatened by her. Guys tend to like her because of her playful tomboy attitude. People are naturally drawn to her on account of her happy, upbeat attitude. She isn’t fake, and she says exactly what she means, so people know that they can go to her with their problems. She makes friends fast, and rarely brings people down with her drama, so they enjoy being in her company.
- Tough –She handles her problems delicately and patiently, and doesn’t act rash. She thinks things through, and has the ability to take on a great deal of emotional pain. She rationalizes everything, to try to understand her problems and make them more manageable in small doses. Her emotional problems build up over time, as it is a long process for her to deal with them, however in the end she manages to come out sane and a better person..
- Loyal – She understands duty, honor, and friendship. This is where her determination comes in, she will do whatever she can to help, and sometimes this can lead her into danger. She can be loyal to a fault, when it comes to the right person. When she says something she means it, and when she gives her word it is as thick as blood. She is who she is, and she won’t compromise herself, but other than that once she either trusts you or loves you then you can count on her no matter what.
Weaknesses:
- Naive – Trinket is young, and ignorant of the ways of the world. She has not been far from home, or seen much of the world. Most of the people that she knows she has known from birth. She has little experience with people that are not local to her town, and some may see this as a way to take advantage of her. She is trusting, and even if she may have a bad gut feeling about something she will likely push it away. She hates seeing the bad in people, and only wants to believe that people have her best intentions at heart. She believes that people see the world the same innocent way that she views it.
- Brutal – If you do not want Trinket's opinion then do not ask for it. This is a warning. She is blunt, harsh, and to the point. She is very observant, and will tell you exactly what she thinks, even if it is not what you want to hear. She is so sweet, so sometimes her honest words come as a shock. The fact that they come through a smile is sometimes confusing. She was raised to never lie, and she took it to heart. She says what she thinks, and often doesn’t realize that her words have come out so direct.
- Blonde – Trinket has a lot of ‘blonde’ moments. Sometimes logic and common since escape her. She isn’t dumb, she is just severely lacking in street smarts. She is sensitive about this, and sometimes it hurts her feelings when she feels left out. Sometimes when she is clueless she tries to fake it and just go with it so that way she isn’t called out on her lack of knowledge.

Likes:
- Bright Colors – She likes to think that the world is colorful, creative and fun. She wants to see the world as vividly as she believes it to be. What better way than to have it full of happy colors, that lie about the true identity of the world. If everything is beautiful and bright then the world really can’t be that bad…right? She believes in beauty, and tries to make the world around her just that.
- Animals – Growing up on a farm probably inspired her passion for critters great and small. She has always had a fluffy cat or dog as a close companion, and would be lost without one.
- Danger – She is attracted to things that could be seen as dangerous, be it men or adventure. reach for it. She doesn’t handle temptation well.
- Organization – She doesn’t have much control over her life, and being a control freak she really needs it. So since she can’t fully control the world around her, she controls what she can. This often translates in her being picky over the smallest of details, and going above and beyond to make sure everything is ‘just perfect’. She needs this control to make up for what she has lost, and it makes her feel the solid ground under her feet and gives her balance in a chaotic world.
Dislikes:
- Giving Up – Once she sets her mind to something, go rushes toward it full force. She becomes easily bound and determined over simple stuff. She hates for people to tell her that she can’t do something, and after someone does –come hell or high water nothing can stop her. She hates letting people down, or having to quit something that she started.
- Depression – She hates people that are depressed, or that complain too much. She is a person that likes to look at the brighter side of life, and expects everyone else should try to do the same. Negative people get under her skin, and she tries to just simply avoid them. She likes to surround herself with positive people, because it is easier for her to be her normal, perky, happy self.
- Hopeless -She falls in love fast, and becomes instantly attracted to people even faster. She is a hopeless romantic, and sees opportunity for love just around every corner. She hates this about herself, because she has been heartbroken so many times. She gets angry at herself for how trusting she is. She is trying to be a bit more cautious, but her heart and brain fail to communicate. In the matter of a few days she can become head over heels in love with someone and heartbroken the day after. She hates the emotional rollercoaster she puts herself through.
Unique Abilities: Once she gets to the training center she will discover she is really good at throwing knives. Also she is really good at figuring out what types of plants you can and can not eat.

History:
Trinket grew up on a farm in just outside the main part of the district. She took care of the cows and sheep, and did day-to-day work. She preferred to tend to the animals then to socialize with other children and make friends. Her father pushed her to go to sleepovers. Trinket hated being around other children, they were so jealous and selfish. However, the animals were just animals and all they wanted was food and love. Things were simpler, and easier around the critters. Eventually she began to feel the desire to fit in as she got older. She made friends, dated boys. Her up beat and bubbly personality made it easy for her to make friends, and become popular. She had a few decent boyfriends, but she always wanted something more. Dangerous, exciting, forbidden. She wanted to feel the rush for herself, instead of vicariously living through it with her friends.
Trinket prefered her home life where she took care of the animals. Mostly sheep that gave them wool to make fabrics. She always became attatched to the animals, giving them names. Two years ago Trinket's mother and father were killed. They were victims of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. They were killed by peacekeepers who were shooting at the uprising mob. More then 30 people were murdered that day. Trinket has still not got over the loss. She hates the capitol, hates the games, and she hates not having controll over her life. She is a controll freak, so she has developed ocd in order to have some of the controll back. She lives with her elderly grandmother on the farm.
