Personality: Leon is a very kind heart and soul. He become angered easily and in often times can lose his head. Being smarter than the average bear, he often over thinks things, which has led him to develop his case of paranoia. He enjoys spending time with his friends, which over time has caused him to become a bit of a goof. The class clown, and everything is or will be a laughing matter to him. Takes things rarely serious, but he can. When he knows that there is no laughing matter around he can indeed become serious. And it takes him a while to loosen up once more.
Although killing kind of drove him away from the games due to all the blood and violence. He was always enveloped back in by the many weapons that the tributes had to choose from. Often times he would watch the Games just to pick up on some new techniques that the career tributes had learned through their training. His mind and quick wits helping him out as well. Even if that could be one of his weaker attributes. Often over thinking small details, working things out step by step. When things don't go according to plan his entire train of thought is disrupted and needs a few minutes to sit down in the quiet and think, do nothing but think.
Finally, his goofy nature. Often used as a mask to hide his fears or anger. Him making a joke out of everything would saves him from his mental instability and paranoia. Along with this, he has this mindset drilled deep in his psyche to rebel against anyone he doesn't like. Well, except for peacekeepers. Especially if it keeps him out of being whipped.

Important People:
- His family (Nameless faceless family)
History: Born into an apothecary shop he was taught the ways of wild plants. He was raised around his mother, while... well he didn't really know who his father was. Even whenever the workers from the coal mines came home. No-one ever did. Did he have a father? Was he dead? Did it really matter? Guess not since he never asked about him. He grew up watching the games, and he had a lot of free time on his hands. What with him being a terrible medical supplier his mother supplied the shop. She only gave up on him when he accidentally blew up the lab trying to make a type of painkiller. Put them out of business for a week until his mother was able to find all of the correct utensils for her remedies. She also had to use their food money, leaving them with little to eat within that week. So as a precaution she refused to let him near the lab and forced him to spend time doing other things. Which is where him picking up the time while watching the games.
After a while of watching he started picking up on some of the strategies that were used by some of the tributes. "Careers" as people called them. The weapons they used, how they attacked other players. Whenever he started getting cabin fever, he would go out and wander around the district waving a stick around acting as if it was a sword. After practicing for about five years with a multitude of weapons he actually started to get good at the practice.
He didn't understand until later that what he was doing was considered unofficial practice. And that tributes were not allowed to do as such. Then again the careers did much more than him and the Capitol couldn't care less. He was just careful with the practice when the Peacekeepers were around.
Throughout his life, he was lucky, he was born into an apothecary, so he never needed to sign up for a tessera, meaning he had as little of his name put into the drawing pot as possible. Even if, watching as his friends went up on stage, only to watch them later be killed mercilessly in the arena... didn't bode over to well in his stomach. It took him a while to fully register the Games, having to watch it over a few times before the pain finally numbed over and he accepted that they were gone forever before finally accepting it and learning what he could.
Then, there was Peeta Mellark, and Katniss Everdeen. he was Sixteen at the time... he didn't know either of them to well, but the pain of losing one of your own still stung just the same. He was indeed one of the people that bid Katniss farewell after she volunteered for tribute... replacing her little sister Primrose. By showing her their own sign of love. Watching the interviews, hearing the shock of Peeta pronouncing his love for Katniss, sent a shiver throughout this body as it did the rest of Panem. But as the games went on, his mind wrapped around it. He saw through their ruse, Peeta made a very convincing case, although it was Katniss that destroyed the illusion. They weren't really in love, and honestly it was... kind of sad how they did it. Then again, when in the games do anything you can do survive. No? As Effie Trinket always says in her high pitched annoying voice. May the odds be ever in your favor.
