Personality: Healins has a short temper and little patience. If someone doesn't approve of something he does and confronts him about it, Healins will challenge them. Usually it doesn't take long before he begins to raise his voice. He's a hypocrite in that way-he can dish it but he can't take it. He prefers to be alone with his work, so that he may 'work in peace.'
Healins also isn't the humblest person you would ever meet. He takes much pride in his work in the medical field; he even felt like being Reaped in the Hunger Games was a set back. However, like most of the victors, Healins still has the nightmares from his games, which contributes to him staying up all night, working. He is sometimes a big old chicken who is afraid of what sleep will bring.
Healins also isn't a big fighter. He won his games purely off of trickery and wittiness. Fighting was only a last resort for him. Healins though, is pretty handy with a blade, if forced into a battle.
Strengths:
• Puzzles, riddles, anything pretty much along those lines
• Sword fighting: he despises it but has to admit that Healins has a talent with it.
Weaknesses:
•When someone manages to tap into his 'sensitive' side, the side that proves that he isn't just a workaholic that survived the Hunger Games.
• Having to think back to his games, he kinda just shuts everyone out
• Healins tends to not trust anyone for quite a while when he first meets someone

Unique Abilities: Healins has a pretty brilliant mind, that why after his games he was requested to work in the medical field, like creating different medication and such. Even before Healins had formal training, he had a vast education. Thus this led him to be able to think things through fully.
As an after note, Healins is also handy with a sword, though he loathes to admit it.

Important People: Healins never really had any close friends but he treasures his family:
• His little sister Kialena, who is 14
• His younger brother Rorthins who is 18
• his parents who he was never close too though he cares deeply about them
History: Healins had grown up in a middle class family. When he was 14th, Healins was reaped and set to the Capitol to be in the 63th Hunger Games. He made it through most of the Games without a single ally to turn too. Healins made a strategy to avoid the other tributes at all cost. He was able to set up and traps that would catch his victims. Finally after two weeks of Games, it was just him and the male tribute from 1 left. The two had a gruel fight which Healins had used the sword which he had snagged from the Cornucopia. The other tribute, having a mace, manged to get Healins in the stomach. Healins, with one last blow of strength, used the sword to slice the neck of the tribute. Healins won.
Upon returning home at District 6, he was more reserved. then before. Healins spent most of his time alone in his room. By the time he turned 18, Healins was requested to work for the medical field. The workers there had made a note of his mind work during his games. He worked day and night there on new medications for the Capitol.
Views on the game: He never really gave them much thought until he was in them. Then after Healins became a victor, he saw them what they really are. Horrible. Torturous. Barbarism. However Healins kept these thoughts to himself. He would refuse to sleep, being how the Hunger Games haunts him. Healins isn't the person though, to openly vouch for a rebellion.
