Everyone thought that district thirteen had been destroyed in the rebellion, however they had not been. Gabriel Archer had taken over the reins of leader and protector of district thirteen and he hopes that one day soon they would break into the games. Gabriel’s goals are to do that in the 75th Hunger Games, his spies have told him that the capitol had already began their own plans for the games and the reaping’s should be happening now. Gabriel wanted to keep those children safe and away from killing each other, he was glad that they didn’t have to deal with it but they did pay a price for the capitol for leaving them home.
Gabriel looked over towards the airships that were now hovering above the ruins of district thirteen. These airships would be carrying the new supply of nuclear weapons for the capitol, Gabriel had wanted to stop this for happening as they could be used against them. Gabriel was leaning against a wall, well the wall was in ruins had been for years. The entrance was nearby and every time sometime left or entered that wall would fall down so no one would ever know that district thirteen survived. Gabriel kept his eyes on the airships as he wanted to make sure that nothing was going to go wrong today.
Gabriel wanted to keep their end of the deal for now, he needed peacekeepers of their backs in order to pull of what the rebellion was planning. The airships belonged to the rebellion Gabriel wanted it that way. Gabriel hadn’t had much sleep for the past four days, he wanted everything to be in place for the rebellion though he wondered how long it would be before Alaina ordered him to bed. Gabriel grinned at that very thought.

Alaina swore under her breath as she sat in one of the command rooms watching the Reapings. They made her sick. How could those sick people find children fighting to the death amussing? And now they had to throw the people who had earned their freedom and paid their dues in the games back in? She switched the TV off as soon as it was over feeling even more disgusted with the Capitol than normal. Where was Gabriel? He had to know what the Quarter Quell twist was this time. She knew he would not be happy when heard that they were throwing adults to be killed for sure while helping kids kill other kids.
She asked around and nodded when she was informrd he was on the serface. Right Capitol wanted their nukes again. She sighed and shook her head and started up towards the serface. She hated this deal about as much as Gabriel did but she knew why they kept it. If they didn't they had no hopes of saving the victors and tributes going into the arena this year. And like hell Allie was going to let all of them die. It wasn't happening. She came up and sighed when he wasn't there. Must be by a different entrance. She wandered a bit as she looked up at the airships and scowled.
She saw her friend and she smiled faintly and walked over to him. "You look terrible Gabe," the red head sighed looking him over woth her green eyes. "You've been skipping out on sleep again haven't you?" Allie staired him down as she leaned on a nearby wall that was far more stable than the one he was against. He always did this when he had a big plan to take care off and didn't want things screwed up.
She sighed and shook her head. "I just finished watching the Reapings... The Quarter Quell twist..." she broke off and shook her head with a glare. "Did you hear what it is this year? It makes me sick what they put these poor kids through." Her eyes said it all. They were filled with hatred and rage. And the dertermination to keep them safe. She knew once he heard Gabe would feel the same way as her.

Gabriel looked over at the airships he couldn’t keep this up for long, he just needed time. Time would make all the difference in this plan. Gabriel yawned he really should get some sleep but he forced himself to stay awake. Gabriel’s thoughts returned to the reaping’s once more, he couldn’t bear to watch the reaping on the television anymore to just sit there and watch broke his heart in two. Gabriel wanted these nukes delivered quickly so everyone could return back to the underground. The airships would meet the peacekeepers halfway before handing them over that way they wouldn’t know where their hidden base was.
Gabriel turned his attention away from the airships when he noticed a voice that he recognized. Just as Gabriel thought when he listened to his friends words. Gabriel knew that he couldn’t hide that he hadn’t had any sleep, she could read him like a book these days. “I look that bad huh?” Gabriel replied back. Gabriel wondered if Allie had watched the reaping’s yet or like him had gotten sick of watching and not being able to do anything. Gabriel watched as the final nuke was loaded into the airship, he seriously hated watching this but thus was better than watching the reaping’s at least.
Gabriel turned his attention back to Allie again. The quarter quell, he actually forgot that it was this year, Gabriel thought that it was going to be an average reaping but he guessed that it wasn’t now and now he wanted to know what happened even more. “I didn’t watch the reaping’s today. What happened?” Gabriel asked as he wanted to know what sick plan the capitol had for the districts this year. Gabriel remembered the other quarter quell’s and they weren’t good. “Soon the Capitol will pay for every death they caused.” Gabriel explained.

'I look that bad huh?' Allie nodded but didn't press the matter. Not yet she wouldn't the reapings were far more important at the moment. Yes she would force him to sleep but soon. 'I didn’t watch the reaping’s today. What happened?' She tried to tell him but shr felt too horrified to just say it... He seemed to pick up on her feelings though. He did that alot, they both did. But he said, 'Soon the Capitol will pay for every death they caused.'
She nodded. "Oh I know they will. After this they have to pay." she looked at him and shook her head a few tears stinging her eyes. "They killed the servival rate... Fourty-eight go in again... But this time only twenty-four have a shot of coming out. The twenty-four kids that normally go in have the chance to come out. But they are throwing in a male and female victor in this time. To help their tribites servive, but the victors going in have a hundred percent chance at death. They arent coming out alive... Their goal is to keep their tributes alive as long as possible before they die... They paied their dues! They went in and came back out they are supposed to be free and they are killing them now and putting them against less experienced children! Its cruel and heartless. We have to stop it." she cried out feeling awful about the whole thing.
She watched him but her eyes flicked up at the aircraft and she glared. She didn't have to explain that she hated giving up their weapons. He knew how she felt and she knew how he felt. But they still had to deal with it of they wete going to save everyone. Everything was going according to plan so far. She just had to keep it that way while he rested because if he kept this up he wasn't going to be any help to those kids dead tired.

Gabriel knew that Allie would force sleep upon him soon enough it was only a matter of time, however the reaping’s were now over he knew that simply because Allie was here talking with him. Gabriel and Allie had been through a lot together already both of their parents had died in the same ambush that the peacekeepers had made. Gabriel knew that Allie wanted the Games stopped more than anyone they both shared the same feelings towards the games as well and by now he hopped that they could read each other well. Gabriel wondered how the peacekeepers would react when the rebellion breaks into their beloved game.
Gabriel smiled when he heard Allie agree with him about how the capitol will pay, it was the first smile from him since four days. Gabriel was silent when Allie soon explained about what happened with the reaping’s. Gabriel was both shocked and horrified what they were doing this year was horrible and wrong just completely wrong. Sending in kids to die was bad enough but sending the past victors and not letting them live was horrible. Gabriel said nothing for a few moments as he watched the airships leave the area.
Gabriel had thought of calling them back and not deliver the nukes to the capitol though he didn’t want to see anyone die because of a mistake that he made. “We’re going to break into the 75th Hunger Games Allie. We’re going to rescue those tributes and victors. The gamemakers will learn the true meaning of rebellion when we strike them hard. No longer will we live in fear because of the non-aggression pact it ends today.” Gabriel spoke without fear in his eyes he wanted Allie to be the first to know of his plans and he knew that she would have his back, Allie always had his back from the moment the two had met.

She nodded and sighed. She knew he would have some sort of plan.... They had been plotting trying to end the games for the past four years. She was happy this was the year they would put it into action. They would succeed. Then she could stop being so emotional. She closed the distance between them and hugged her close friend, someone she considered to be her best friend, next to her sister that was. "Gabe We have to win this year. No fails in the plan. We can't afford it. No more lives can be lost. We can't let it happen. I won't let them kill any more children. It isn't fair that they have to deal with that torture. And sickening how some of them think it's an honnor to go in and die and an even bigger one to make it out." she whispered, trying to hide her tears. She always got this way though around the Reapings and Games. She couldn't stand them.
She sighed and looked up at him a few tears leaking from her green eyes. "I need to know everything. We should go inside. Talk there make plans and perfect what ever ideas we already have. We will not fail this time. and we will get these kids out of there." She smirked a little a shrugged. "Besides, with both our brilliant minds on the job. Like hell it will fail on us.... Not without someone fucking it up for us." She pulled away slightly and dried her tears. She had a mission to plan and she was ready for it.
